Net toen we dachten dat we er bijna waren, laait het Coronavirus toch weer op. Omdat de besmettingen te snel toenemen en de zorg weer overbelast is, heeft het kabinet afgelopen vrijdag een aantal stevige maatregelen genomen.
De scholen blijven gelukkig open. Het kabinet ziet in dat het onderwijs te belangrijk is voor onze kinderen. Wij moeten er als organisatie wel voor zorgen dat we er alles aan doen om de school open te houden. We gaan morgen intern hierover in overleg om specifieke maatregelen voor de Boschuil op te stellen. Een aantal zaken willen we nu alvast meegeven. Deze staan onderaan deze mail vermeld.
Corona op de Boschuil.
Net zoals in het hele land, waart het Coronavirus ook op de Boschuil rond. De afgelopen week zijn er bij ons 13 kinderen gemeld die besmet zijn met het virus. Tot nu zijn dit kinderen uit de groepen 6 t/m 8. Daarnaast was er de afgelopen weken 1 collega thuis vanwege een besmetting van het virus.
Helaas hebben we vandaag moeten besluiten dat alle 3 de groepen 8 in quarantaine moeten, omdat er te veel besmettingen zijn. Zo moeten we verdere verspreiding voorkomen. We stappen voor deze groepen vanaf morgen over op onlineonderwijs. Gelukkig kunnen we de ervaringen van afgelopen jaar meenemen, zodat het onderwijs gewoon doorloopt.
Druk op het personeel.
De afgelopen weken waren er veel collega's afwezig door ziekte en/of klachten die passen bij het Coronavirus. We doen er alles aan om dan de juiste vervanging te vinden. Tot nu toe is dit nog steeds gelukt. Wat dat betreft werk ik in een topteam met collega's die er samen de schouders onder zetten. U mag van ons verwachten dat we ons blijven inzetten voor de kinderen, maar het kan zijn dat er op een dag geen leerkracht is voor uw kind. We zullen dan noodgedwongen moeten vragen om de kinderen thuis te laten. Mocht dit bij uw kind van toepassing zijn, dan zullen we u hiervan op tijd op de hoogte brengen.
Maatregelen die we nu al willen melden:
· De beslisboom voor kinderen is bepalend bij het wel of niet naar school gaan. KLIK HIER!
· Als volwassenen houden wij in de gebouwen 1,5m afstand tot elkaar.
· Externen (ook ouders) willen we nog toelaten, maar we willen dit wel tot het minimum
beperken. Alleen als het echt nodig is.
· Externen die in het gebouw komen dragen een mondkapje.
· We gaan kinderen uit verschillende groepen in het gebouw niet mixen om verspreiding te
voorkomen.
· Het brengen en halen van de kinderen (ook de nieuwe afspraken bij de kleuters) gaat hartstikke
goed. Dank daarvoor. We willen u wel vragen om afstand te houden van de deur waar uw kind
naar binnengaat. We willen ook daar de afstand bewaken.
We blijven de ontwikkelingen met u delen. We moeten er met zijn allen voor zorgen dat we het virus onder controle krijgen. De gezondheid van de kinderen, van het personeel en van u als ouders/verzorgers zijn daarbij het belangrijkste.

Dear parent(s)/guardian(s),
Just when we thought we were almost there, the Corona virus flares up again. Because the infections are increasing too fast and the care is overburdened again, the cabinet has taken some firm measures last Friday.
Fortunately, the schools remain open. The cabinet realises that education is too important for our children. However, as an organisation we must make sure that we do everything we can to keep the school open. We will consult internally tomorrow to draw up specific measures for the Boschuil. There are a number of things we want to give you now. These are listed at the bottom of this mail.
Corona on the Boschuil.
As in the whole country, the Corona virus is present on the Boschuill. The past week 13 children have been reported infected with the virus. So far these are children from groups 6 to 8. In addition, there was 1 colleague at home the past weeks because of an infection of the virus.
Unfortunately, we had to decide today that all 3 groups 8 have to go into quarantine, because there are too many infections. This is to prevent further spread. We will switch to online education for these groups starting tomorrow. Fortunately, we can take the experiences of last year with us, so education will continue as usual.
Pressure on staff.
The past few weeks, many colleagues have been absent due to illness and/or complaints related to the Coronavirus. We do everything we can to find the right replacement. So far, we have still succeeded. In that respect, I work in a top team with colleagues who go the extra mile. You may expect us to continue to dedicate ourselves to the children, but it may be that on a day there is no teacher for your child. Then, we will be forced to ask you to leave your children at home. If this applies to your child, we will inform you in time.
Measures we would like to mention now:

· As adults we keep a 1.5m distance from each other in the buildings.
· We still want to allow outsiders (including parents), but we want to keep this to a minimum.
Only if it is really necessary.
· Externals who come into the building wear a mouth mask.
· We will not mix children from different groups in the building to prevent spreading.
· Bringing and picking up the children (also the new agreements with the kleuters) goes
very well. Thank you for that. We would like to ask you to keep your distance from the
door where your child enters. We also want to keep the distance there.
We will continue to share developments with you. We all need to make sure that we get the virus under control. The health of the children, of the staff and of you as parents/carers is the most important thing.
